Research Spotlight – Deka River Pollution
This video highlights the challenges local communities are facing with polluted mine effluent water that is feeding into the Deka River in Zimbabwe. The pollution is affecting the health of people living in the area as well as affecting their livestock.

We are engaging government, communities, researchers, and industry through short courses, seminars, workshops, and publications to share evidence and build awareness of sustainable water governance and waste management practices.
GIS and Remote Sensing in Water Resource Management
The National University of Science and Technology in Zimbabwe will offer a a short course on GIS and Remote Sensing in Water Resource Management. This course will be a precursor to the annual water indaba.
